Russian and Belarusian property worth UAH 844 million was transferred to the Agency of Investigation and Asset Management


Law enforcement officers handed over russian and Belarusian property worth more than UAH 844 million to the Agency for Investigation and Asset Management.

During the pre-trial investigation, the investigators established the property of companies whose activities are related to russian federation and the Republic of Belarus. According to the decrees of the courts of Kyiv, the objects were seized, all assets will work for the budget of Ukraine, the Kyiv police informs.

Property owned by citizens of enemy states was handed over to the Agency for Investigation and Asset Management administration. The total amount of the arrested is more than UAH 844 million.

Among the confiscated property are 22 units of agricultural machinery, a 25% share in the authorized capital of the wagon-building plant, 645 wagons and other property of the organization, the owner of which is a citizen of russian federation. The list also includes three locomotives of the Belarusian association and money in the bank accounts of one of the organizations, the owner of which is a citizen of Belarus.

The pre-trial investigation is carried out on the basis of the materials of the Kyiv Public Prosecutor’s Office and under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office. The police are investigating a number of criminal proceedings under pp. 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — financing of actions committed for the purpose of violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power, change of territory or state border of Ukraine.

It will be recalled that earlier nina russian vessels were transferred from the Agency for Investigation and Asset Management to the management of the Ukrainian enterprise. The total value of watercraft is more than UAH 532 million.

The ships arrived in Ukraine at the end of 2021 — the beginning of 2022. Carrying out economic activity in the transportation of goods, the russian companies-owners of the ships paid taxes and filled the budget of russian federation, which actually provided financial assistance to the armed forces of the aggressor country.
