Russian bulk carrier once again loaded stolen Ukrainian grain in Crimea

The vessel Siberia (IMO:9239458) under the Russian flag loaded stolen grain in Crimea and is probably heading to Syria or Lebanon.

This was reported by Kateryna Yaresko, a journalist for the SeaKrime project of the Peacemaker Center.

According to her, the vessel “Siberia” (IMO:9239458) arrived in the Bosphorus loaded and is indicating its direction to Lebanon.

In particular, it is known that the bulk carrier turned off its AIS on December 21 in the Kerch Strait, and on December 23, 2025 it was already photographed from occupied Feodosia.

“The flight may be to Lebanon or Syria, like last time,” Kateryna Yaresko noted.

The Defense Intelligence  War&Sanctions portal notes that the shipowner is the sanctioned Russian transport company LLC TK Severny Proekt. The company specializes in sea freight transportation via the Northern Sea Route, transports general, groupage, mixed and non-standard cargo, special equipment, equipment, container cargo, and has a license to transport dangerous goods of all categories.

In May 2022, the United States imposed sanctions on LLC “TK Severny Proekt” due to the transportation of weapons for the Russian Federation by the company’s vessels, and sanctions were also imposed on 15 of the company’s vessels, in particular the Siberia.

As a reminder, at the end of December last year, the Russian bulk carrier “Novaya Zemlya” (IMO: 9549281) loaded in Feodosia. The vessel was heading to the Lebanese port of Tripoli.
