Russian bulk carrier sends stolen Ukrainian grain to Syria for the second time in a row


The offending vessel loaded about 40 thousand tons of wheat in temporarily occupied Sevastopol.

The Russian bulk carrier Enisey (IMO: 9079169) loaded about 40 thousand tons of wheat at the Avlita terminal in occupied Sevastopol. This was reported by Kateryna Yaresko, a journalist for the SeaKrime project of the Peacemaker Center.

The illegal loading took place on December 5, and on December 13 the vessel turned on its AIS and indicated the port of destination Tartus. Before that, the sanctioned bulk carrier was loaded at Avlita from October 23 to 30. The cargo also went to Syria. The exporter on both voyages is the Russian company Myroport (TIN 2361011156).

Also, as USM wrote the day before, the attacked sanctioned tanker Virat entered Turkey for repairs under a new name and flag.
