Russian businessman reported for suspicion of supplying electricity to the Russian Black Sea Fleet

The president of the CSKA football club, Yevgeny Giner, is accused of financing the occupation administrations and security forces of the Russian Federation in the occupied Crimea.
This was reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The businessman’s actions were qualified as financing actions aimed at the violent change and overthrow of the constitutional order, the seizure of state power, as well as changing the boundaries of the territory and the state border of Ukraine.
The investigation established that after the occupation of Crimea, the energy supply company controlled by him was formally re-registered in Kherson, and a “branch” was created in Sevastopol, registered with illegal “state bodies” of the Russian Federation.
Through this structure, in 2015–2016, at least 20 contracts were concluded for the supply of electricity to the FSB, the Black Sea Fleet, the so-called “Sevastopol government”, courts, the prosecutor’s office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, customs and tax authorities. The total amount of the contracts exceeded 206 million rubles (over 79 million UAH at the exchange rate of that time).
Thus, according to the investigation, the businessman systematically provided the occupiers with resources, contributing to the establishment and functioning of the illegal Russian government in the territory of Crimea.
He involved four more people in the implementation of the scheme, who were also notified of suspicion. One of them has already received a guilty verdict.
Earlier, the same businessman was notified of suspicion of encroaching on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine.
Earlier, USM wrote that the admiral of the Russian Black Sea Fleet was notified of suspicion due to the seizure of a civilian vessel near Zmiinyi.
