Russian Lukoil drilling rigs hit in the Caspian Sea

The Defense Forces of Ukraine have hit three drilling rigs of the Lukoil corporation in the Caspian Sea.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on January 11.
Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine have hit three drilling rigs of the Lukoil corporation in the Caspian Sea, namely, the V. Filanovsky, the Yuriy Korchagin and the Valery Greifer rigs.
The General Staff added that these facilities are involved in providing support to the Russian occupation army.
“Hits have been recorded. The scale of the damage is being clarified. The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue the systematic weakening of the military-economic capabilities and offensive potential of the Russian occupation forces,” the message said.
As previously reported by USM, Georgia has detained the Caminero tanker for navigation violations. The vessel previously sailed under the flag of the Russian Federation.
