Russian ship “Dobrynya” burned down in the Barents Sea

In the Barents Sea near Cape Syuetteniemi, the small vessel Dobrynya caught fire and burned to the ground.
According to Russian media, there were no casualties, but almost nothing was left of the vessel.
“As a result of the incident, the vessel burned completely. There was no spill of oil products,” the Murmansk Region Emergencies Ministry said. Experts are determining the cause of the fire.
Russian Telegram channels report that the vessel’s crew escaped by boat. Previously, the cause of the fire could have been a short circuit in the battery.
Two people were engaged in amateur crab fishing on the small vessel, but it is unknown whether this was legal.
Earlier, USM reported that the Russian tanker “Khatanga” was sent for scrapping after eight years of downtime in Poland.
