Russian tanker attacked off the coast of Turkey

The Russian vessel Midvolga-2, which was heading from Russia to Georgia with a cargo of sunflower oil, was attacked near the coast of Turkey.
The General Directorate of Maritime Affairs of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey reported this on the social network X.
The vessel, which has 13 crew members, was not injured and did not ask for help, the department noted.
It is also known that the tanker is currently moving under its own power towards Sinop, on the Black Sea coast of Turkey.
Earlier, USM reported that the Ukrainian Navy responded to Turkey’s concerns about the attack on Russian tankers.
