Russians try to deploy naval drones after defeats in the Black Sea

After numerous attacks by Ukrainian kamikaze drones, Russia is trying to create its own drone fleet.

The Russians are announcing the start of the formation of new regiments of unmanned systems within the Navy. This is reported by “Militarnyi”.

This involves the creation of separate units in each of the Russian fleets – using air, land, surface and underwater drones.

According to Russian propaganda resources, the new formations will perform reconnaissance, strike and defense functions – from detecting enemy forces to neutralizing sea mines. The focus is on the rapid creation of at least five regiments.

The occupiers have placed the greatest hopes on the “Oduvanchik” naval drone and the “Katran” reconnaissance and strike complex (an unmanned boat paired with the “Skvorets” FPV drone).

Earlier, USM reported that the Russians are trying to “steal” Magura V5 naval drones from Ukraine.
