Russians want to restore passenger sea terminal and vessel traffic control center in Mariupol

The invaders plan to restore the passenger sea terminal and the vessel traffic control center in the port of Mariupol.
This is reported by Russian media with reference to the Unified Institute of Spatial Planning of the Russian Federation.
Thus, the Russians want to restore the passenger sea terminal “Mariupol” and the vessel traffic control center, as well as reconstruct the existing berths.
“The project provides for the restoration of the seaport infrastructure, in particular the grain terminal and the coal loading complex, the preservation of administrative and warehouse buildings, as well as the modernization of engineering infrastructure facilities,” the report says.
It is also planned to restore the railway connection with the seaport and reconstruct the railway crossings. The occupiers expect that the modernization of the Mariupol seaport will allow the enterprise to increase its cargo turnover.
Earlier, USM reported that the Russians want to “modernize” the port infrastructure in occupied Berdyansk.
