Ukraine lost at least 1 billion dollars in the form of wheat collected by russia in the occupied territories.

These results were shared by NASA thanks to research using satellite images of the Food Security and Agriculture Program (NASA Harvest).

The analysis demonstrated what is happening in the occupied Ukrainian territories. It uses an automatic decoding system that detects changes in texture and color in a series of satellite images to map where crops have been harvested or left unharvested.

According to NASA Harvest, almost 6 million tons of wheat were collected from territories not controlled by Ukraine. About 88% of the winter crops sown in the occupied territories were harvested, and the unharvested areas are mainly along the front line.
