A 45-foot container with cigarettes was discovered in the Rheny Seaport. The cargo was illegally imported from the UAE.

A 45-foot container of cigarettes of foreign origin is in the Rhenish Sea Trade Port. The container and cargo were imported from the United Arab Emirates in violation of customs and tax legislation, the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine reports.

Detectives discovered and seized more than 900,000 packs of cigarettes without excise tax stamps, which were transported in 1,830 boxes.

According to the documents, the goods were intended for a fictitious recipient.

In this way, the the Bureau of Economic Security employees warned against the illegal importation of tobacco products into the territory of Ukraine without proper customs clearance.
