Shares of Ukrainian agricultural companies mostly sank

Agricultural companies ended the week on European exchanges with a predominantly lower quote, but MHP and IMC managed to stay in the green zone.

Last week, shares of Ukrainian agricultural companies traded on European exchanges mostly declined. This is evidenced by data from the investment company Eavex Capital, writes Latifundist.

The most noticeable drop was recorded in Agroton – quotes decreased by 5.8%, and market capitalization currently amounts to $33 million.

Also in the red were:

• Astarta – a drop of 5.1% (capitalization $307 million),

• Milkiland – minus 4.8% ($15 million),

• Kernel – minus 1.9% ($1.673 billion).

Only two companies showed positive dynamics last week:

• MHP — growth of 5.3% (capitalization $676 million),

• IMC — plus 0.7% ($289 million).

In general, since the beginning of the year, IMC has demonstrated the best dynamics among agricultural companies — +85.6%. Kernel (+59.2%) and Milkiland (+56.5%) also grew significantly during the year.

As USM reported, in November, Ukraine increased its agricultural exports to 5 million tons.
