Ships from Ukraine must be accompanied by a “military escort” — the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania called on the world to provide ships with Ukrainian grain with military support.

“Negotiations with russia are not working. Putin breaks agreements and blackmails all of us.

If he continues to threaten Ukraine’s grain exports, the free world must unite to protect shipping with military escort. Let’s bypass the blackmail,” Lithuanian MFA Gabrielus Landsbergis wrote on Twitter.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock also commented on the situation with the “grain corridor”. She called on russia to fulfill its obligations under the agreement on the export of Ukrainian grain through the Black Sea.

The head of the German Foreign Ministry also pointed out that dozens of grain trucks are currently on the way to deliver grain from Ukraine to other countries.
