Shmyhal: Ukraine started pre-war exports by sea

Ukraine reached the pre-war level of exports by sea. Total exports are also nearing pre-invasion levels.

The Ukrainian maritime corridor has been operating for six months. It was also possible to launch a project to insure exports against military risks, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said at a Government meeting

So, more than 660 ships have already passed through the new grain corridor, transporting about 20 million tons of cargo to 32 countries of the world. 70% of these cargoes are agricultural products of Ukrainian agricultural producers.

In January, Ukraine reached pre-war seaborne exports, and the total volume of exports is already approaching the figures it had before the full-scale invasion.

Last month, in monetary terms, total Ukrainian exports amounted to 3.1 billion dollars, of which 1.9 billion dollars were sea exports.

Earlier, USM reported that Ukraine exported more than 20 million tons of cargo from the ports of Great Odesa through the maritime corridor.
