Simplification of customs procedures in Ukrainian ports will begin on January 25

The process of preliminary clearance of cargo will start tomorrow at the Black Sea Fishing Port.
As noted by AMEU from January 25, the passage of cargo to the Black Sea Fishing Port will be carried out according to the preliminary clearance procedure.
Thus, some customs decisions can be made before the actual arrival of vehicles at the port, if the risk management system has not identified controls that require physical/visual actions.
Accelerated customs procedures reduce the time that vehicles and personnel spend in the risk zone. This also means less contact and movement during air alerts, which is important for the safety of port and terminal employees, freight forwarders, drivers and everyone who ensures the movement of cargo.
As a reminder, the government approved amendments to the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which accelerate customs procedures in ports during martial law, on January 5.
