Since the beginning of the year, the price of sunflower oil has increased in Ukrainian ports

Sunflower oil in Ukrainian ports has risen in price by $22/t since the beginning of 2026.
According to APK-Inform, monitoring data, the price increase is explained by a decrease in the number of offers for sunflower oil against the background of active demand for it.
Also, Russian shelling of tanks with sunflower oil in different parts of the country led to a significant reduction in already limited stocks of the product.
As of January 9, 2026, the demand prices for sunflower oil in the ports of Ukraine reached 1240 USD/t CPT-port. Similar prices at the end of 2025 were mostly recorded no higher than 1218 USD/t CPT-port.
As previously reported by USM, the USDA has lowered the forecast for Ukrainian wheat exports to 14 million tons.
