Sleeves for grain storage will arrive in Ukraine in October

Sleeves for grain storage, purchased by the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations FAO, will already be in Ukraine in October.

Canada was one of the first to allocate funds for the purchase of means for temporary storage of the Ukrainian harvest, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reported.

“Ukraine is grateful to the Canadian government for providing temporary granaries for storing this year’s harvest. This is a very important decision, and you were the first to respond to our call,” said Minister of Agricultural Policy Mykola Solskyi.

Earlier, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, signed Law No. 7548-1, according to which the import duty on goods used to store grain and/or oil crops is abolished.
