“Sovcomflot” revenue decreased by 19% in 2024


Revenue of “Sovcomflot”, the largest shipping company and oil carrier in Russia, decreased by 19% for the year.

In 2024, PJSC “Sovcomflot” revenue decreased by 19.26% compared to the previous year, and amounted to $1.87 billion, Russian media reported.

Revenue based on time charter equivalent decreased by 25% – to $1.535 billion.

Operating expenses in January-December 2024 increased by 13% and reached $419 million. EBITDA amounted to $1.041 billion, decreasing by 33.87% compared to the previous year.

Adjusted net profit in rubles according to the consolidated financial statements with IFRS decreased by 44.68%, compared to 2023, to 46.2 billion rubles (about $5.18 million). Earnings per share amounted to 19.46 rubles ($0.22).

Earlier, USM reported that “Sovcomflot” renamed tankers that fell under US sanctions.
