Sunken ships and decline: what the port of Mariupol looks like under occupation


Photos of the port under occupation were published by the Mariupol City Council.

“The port of Mariupol under occupation looks exactly like this. Sunken ships, ruins and complete decay,” the city council wrote.

The Mariupol Seaport was one of the largest ports in Ukraine. Its capacity allowed to handle more than 10 million tons of cargo per year.
