Sweden to provide Ukraine with weapons worth over $150 million, including underwater vehicles

The Swedish government will allocate more than $150 million for the supply of modern artillery and underwater systems to Ukraine.
This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Sweden, Poul Jonsson, on the social network X.
The funds will go to more than ten new barrels for the Archer self-propelled guns, long-range artillery complexes and special underwater vehicles, as well as to expand logistical capabilities. It is especially emphasized that the Archer has shown itself to be very effective on the Ukrainian front, which is why it needs to be strengthened.
In addition to artillery and underwater systems, Sweden plans to purchase Volvo and Scania trucks, as well as implement a new container system for quick and safe unloading of weapons.
This tranche will be a continuation of Swedish support: on June 5, the country has already allocated 550 million kronor (~$30 million) for NATO needs as part of assistance to Ukraine.
As USM wrote, a little earlier, Ukraine and Sweden agreed on the mutual recognition of seamen documents.
