Swedish boats have already started to fulfill the tasks of demining in the Black sea

Swedish Combat Boat 90 boats, transferred by partners to the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, are already performing special tasks in the Black Sea.
As reported by the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the tasks of the boats are aimed at strengthening security measures in the coastal waters.
“Among other narrowly specific tasks, the boats perform the function of mine clearance,” the department noted.
It should be noted that the SV-90 boat, 14.9 meters long and 3.8 meters wide, can reach speeds of up to 43 nautical knots. The boat’s capabilities allow it to transport four and a half tons of cargo or 21 airborne troops in full combat gear. The boat is equipped with firing points for machine guns and grenade launchers.
If necessary, the boat can be armed with light anti-ship missiles, transport sea mines and depth charges.
Earlier it also became known that Ukraine has improved its mine clearance capabilities in the Black Sea.
