Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has reoriented its exports to European countries. At the same time, deliveries to Asian and African countries have significantly decreased.
“Cautious optimism” appeared in exports of metal products after the first ships with metal left Ukrainian ports.
In Ukraine, two laboratories of the State Production and Consumer Service were opened: food safety and veterinary medicine, as well as a phytosanitary laboratory.
Exporters from Ukraine have already sent applications to the Ministry of Economy for the issuance of licenses, which are necessary for the export of agricultural products to five EU countries under the new rules.
Since 2022, it was possible to export about 100,000 tons of Ukrainian agricultural products through the port of Rijeka (Croatia).
Currently, the production of oil crops is expected to increase in Ukraine. Deep sea ports are required for export.
In the new season, the export of Ukrainian agricultural products can reach almost 49 million tons.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal discussed with the Prime Minister of Bulgaria Nikolay Denkov the issue of export of Ukrainian agricultural products.
