The first bulk carrier with Ukrainian wheat as part of the new humanitarian program GrainFromUkraine has already left the port of Odesa. The cargo was sent with the support of the Government of Germany and the World Food Program of the United Nations.

Officials of the State Production and Consumer Service in Odesa region demanded bribes from grain exporters.

In two days, 14 dry cargoes will arrive in Ukraine, which will be able to transport more than 270 thousand tons of grain.

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, said that agricultural products through the “grain corridor” should first of all go to African countries.

Due to the uncertainty of the future fate of the “grain corridor”, in the first days of November, the load on the railway network of Ukraine decreased.

Since the beginning of the departure of the first vessel through the “grain corridor”, Ukraine has exported 10 million tons of agricultural products within the framework of the Istanbul Agreements.

The UN and Turkey increased the number of inspection teams to 10. Thanks to this, the Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul inspected 46 vessels in a day.

The UN confirmed that on November 3, 8 more ships with Ukrainian agricultural products should pass through the “grain corridor”.
