In the past seasons, China was the main buyer of Ukrainian corn and barley. This season, China has significantly reduced grain imports from Ukraine.

Almost 400 ships with Ukrainian food that went through the “grain corridor” were cleared by Odesa customs officials.

The UN aid chief, Martin Griffiths, said he was relatively optimistic about the extension of the “grain agreements” in the second half of November.
