The United States has begun to transfer old tankers seized as part of its efforts to combat sanctions against Russia, Iran, and Venezuela for disposal.

Over 11 months, scrap metal exports from Ukraine have already increased by 45% – to over 380 thousand tons.

In January-July, the export of scrap metal increased by 46.9% compared to the same period last year.

Ukrainian enterprises in November increased the export of scrap metal 78.5 times compared to the corresponding month of 2020 – to 44 thousand tons.
