The Union of Ukrainian Organizations of Australia has announced a protest in Sydney, demanding that the authorities and businesses stop the import of petroleum products originating from Russia.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svirydenko has called on international partners to expand sanctions against Russia’s “shadow fleet.”

The Sanctions Summit was held in Kyiv, where the fight against the so-called shadow fleet of the Russian Federation and blocking of sanctions circumvention schemes were discussed.

Latvian vessels continue to supply fuel to Russian tankers belonging to the “shadow fleet”. There are no legal mechanisms to stop such operations yet.
