For the first time, the Shipping Administration received an application for receiving the seafarer’s documents submitted through his representative.

The Shipping Administration is forced to temporarily stop the certification of Ukrainian sailors. This is the decision made by the court, currently the Administration plans to file an appeal.

Now Ukrainian sailors can apply and receive qualification documents through a representative.

An indictment was sent to the court against the organizer of the scheme, who demanded money from sailors for obtaining qualification documents.

Currently, the seafarer certification system in Ukraine is being completely rebuilt and digitized.
