In 2022, SE “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” received a net loss of UAH 473 million.

A new company – “Fram Shipping” LLC – intends to start its activities on the territory of the Reni seaport.

USPA signed an agreement with the European Maritime Safety Agency. According to it, Ukraine will receive specialized equipment for the elimination of pollution in the water areas of sea ports.

The Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA) is asking to make the process of forming a queue of vessels for entry into Ukrainian ports more transparent.

Only in January of this year, the indicator of pig iron transshipment through the Izmail port amounted to almost 38 thousand tons. For the entire year 2022, the total volume was only 18.9 thousand tons.

Officials of the Ukrainian Sea Port Authority were exposed for embezzling over 90 million UAH.

The issue of the potential of the Sulina Channel was discussed during the meeting of the representatives of USPA, the European Commission and the Danube Commission from the Romanian side.

Four ex-officials are suspected of fraud with land in the port water area of the Black Sea branch of SE “USPA”.

According to the results of 2022, the ports of Ukraine handled more than 59 million tons of cargo. Exports amounted to 47.8 million tons.

State Enterprise “USPA” lost a case to Gidrobud Ukraine LLC and will have to pay the company over UAH 22 million (USD 819.8 thousand).
