Tender for 4 billion UAH: Odesa Port Plant chose the company that will supply gas

Joint-stock company “Odesa Port Plant” has chosen the winner of the gas supply tender.

Odesa Port Plant  has chosen the winner of the tender for the supply of 242.56 million cubic meters of gas for resumption of work, Business Censor reports.

The winner was Ukrnaftogazburinnia LLC, registered in August 2023 in Lviv. Mykhailo Mazur is indicated as the head and founder of the company.

Last year, in September, the company received a special license for the right to carry out business activities related to the supply of natural gas.

The deadline for natural gas supply is until the end of this year. The expected cost of gas was UAH 17,254 per thousand cubic meters (including VAT) for a total of UAH 4.19 billion. The offer of “Ukrnaftogazburinnia” is currently unknown.

We will remind you that the Odesa port plant is preparing to resume full operation for the first time since 2021.

The mass media reported that in order to guarantee the safety of production at the Odesa Port Plant, they announced the recruitment of men to the paramilitary gas rescue squad, which should constantly accompany the enterprise’s technological processes and prevent accidents.

It is also known that Odesa Port Plant  can start handling vessels. The plant has the capacity to load multi-ton vessels — it actually acts as a deep-sea port.

Earlier, USM reported that the ex-head of the State Property Fund was arrested in absentia for embezzlement of Odesa Port Plant  and  UMCC.
