During the last attack on Russian ships, the Ukrainian military destroyed the Commanding Officer of the landing craft “Serna”.
On the night of November 10, the Armed Forces destroyed the Commanding Officer of the Russian amphibious assault boat of project 11770 “Serna”, according to reports on social networks.
The Commanding Officer was senior midshipman Denis Nikitin.
Nikitin was born in 1981 in Uzhur (Krasnoyarsk region of the Russian Federation). From there, he was called to serve in the Black Sea Fleet of Russia. The Russian served in various positions at the Novorossiysk Naval Base.
The official website of the Black Sea District Cossack Society reported that the occupier was killed as a result of a nighttime attack by Ukrainian naval drones on Russian boats near the occupied Crimea. The funeral of the soldier took place on November 20 in Novorossiysk.
It will be recalled that the last time Russian ships were attacked by naval drones was on November 10. Then the anti-aircraft missiles destroyed two amphibious ships of the Russian Federation – “Serna” and “Akula”.
In addition to the crew, the Russian landing craft also had loaded armored vehicles at the time of the attack, in particular, the BTR-82 armored personnel carrier.
