The Armed Forces of Ukraine hit a ship with Iranian ammunition in the port of “Olya”

The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the port of “Olya” in the Astrakhan region, which Russia uses to supply weapons from Iran.

On August 14, the special operations forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a fire strike on the seaport of “Olya” in the Astrakhan region of Russia. This was reported by the press service of the General Staff.

According to preliminary data, the ship “Port Olya 4”, loaded with components for Shahed drones and ammunition, was hit during the attack. The consequences of the strike are currently being clarified.

The Defense Forces emphasized that they continue measures aimed at undermining the military potential of the Russian army and forcing the Russian Federation to stop its aggression against Ukraine.

Recall that the port of “Olya” is an important logistical hub through which Russian troops receive military goods from Iran.

Also, the day before, Ukrainian partisans conducted reconnaissance of the main base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Novorossiysk.
