The arrested vessel USKO MFU was put up for auction for the third time

The National Agency for Tracing and Asset Management (ARMA) has put up for auction the arrested vessel USKO MFU for the third time.
This is stated in the announcement in the electronic trading system Prozorro.
The previous auction, scheduled for November 25, did not take place due to the lack of participants.
The auction is scheduled to take place on December 8. The starting price of the asset is UAH 2,479,440 (excluding VAT). Compared to the first auction, the price of the vessel was reduced by 50%, from UAH 4,958,880.
The vessel under the flag of Cameroon belongs to the Turkish company “MED VOYAGER SHIPPING INC”. The asset is located in the city of Reni in the Odesa region.
ARMA warned about a number of shortcomings that currently affect the functionality of the vessel: among them – wear and dents on the port and starboard sides of the hull, wear of metal on the deck, oil leaks, breaks in the deck ventilation system, wear of wheels and cover rails, etc.
Given the long stay of the vessel in the sludge, the technical condition has deteriorated – there are reasons to believe that the mechanisms have defrosted.
It will be recalled that Ukraine detained the vessel Usko Mfu on the Danube due to ties with the Russian Federation. It entered Ukrainian waters after a voyage to occupied Sevastopol.
USM also reported that a Ukrainian court sentenced the captain of the vessel, which helped export Ukrainian grain from Crimea.
