The auction for the privatization of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi port was once again not held

For the fourth time, the property of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi MTP cannot be sold at auction.
On Wednesday, June 14, the auction for the privatization of the property complex of SE ” Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Sea Trade Port” was not held due to the lack of participants.
The starting price of the auction was UAH 93 million.
It will be recalled that this was supposed to be the fourth attempt to privatize the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi port. The first auction was supposed to take place on March 3, but no one applied for participation. The second auction took place on March 13, but the winner did not pay for the lot. The third auction was not held on June 6 due to a lack of participants.
As previously reported by USM, the port needs investment and modernization to start full operation. This is possible only thanks to the involvement of a private investor.
