The auction for the sale of the Odesa Port Plant did not take place: the state is preparing a repeat auction

The agricultural holding “Kernel” explained why it refused to participate in the auction for the privatization of the Odesa Port Plant.
“Kernel” refused to participate in the auction after a comprehensive check of the asset and risk assessment. This is reported by Latifundist with reference to Forbes Ukraine.
The press service of the agricultural holding noted that the asset is interesting, but after conducting a comprehensive check and risk assessment, the company decided not to submit an application for participation in the auction.
We remind you that on November 25, an auction for the privatization of JSC “Odesa Port Plant” was scheduled in the “Prozorro.Sales” system with a starting price of 4.49 billion hryvnias. Due to the lack of registered participants, the auction did not take place.
In particular, the application for privatization was submitted by Agro Gas Trading, a company that had already appeared in the NABU case regarding possible abuses of the Odesa Port Plant. The company was not allowed to bid, but it is ready to apply for participation in the new auction.
