The United Kingdom is planning to monitor Russian activities in the Black Sea to deter any Russian attacks on civilian vessels carrying grain. Several measures are being directed toward monitoring Russian activities in the Black Sea.

“Britain will use military intelligence and surveillance data to monitor Russian activity in the Black Sea to deter any Russian attacks on grain-carrying civilian ships,” said the UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, as reported by Ukrinform .

Sunak emphasized that world leaders should clearly convey that they view Putin’s decision to withdraw from the Black Sea grain initiative as a step towards isolationism and should agree to protect those affected by this decision.

Additionally, on November 20, the United Kingdom will host an international summit on food security. The Prime Minister’s office stated that the summit will take place in London and will bring together governments, international organizations, and companies to combat the root causes of food insecurity and malnutrition.
