Former head of Rosneft Sergey Bogdanchikov has become a defendant in the lawsuit of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation to the Sakhalin Arbitration Court.
Sergey Bogdanchikov headed the largest oil company in Russia from 1998 to 2010, writes NV Бізнес NV Business.
As part of this lawsuit, similar to those filed by Russian prosecutors to seize assets in cases of illegal privatization in the 1990s, Sakhalin-Shelf-Service LLC is also being sued – the owner of the Sakhalin Western Sea Port, the only specialized port in the Far East for servicing oil and gas projects.
It is known that Bogdanchikov owns 52% of this LLC.
RosZMI reported that the court in this case has scheduled a hearing for March 31.
It should be noted that Sakhalin-Shelf-Service provides shore support, including specialized and port services, for all current projects for the exploration and development of hydrocarbon deposits on the shelf of Sakhalin Island and the Kamchatka Peninsula, the Russian Arctic shelf and abroad. The company’s revenue in recent years has been about 3 billion rubles.
