The Cabinet simplified the booking procedure for carriers

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Ministry of Communities Territories and Infrastructure Development have simplified booking for carriers.

An enterprise that meets the criteria submits a package of documents to the Ministry, receives the status of critical importance and has the opportunity to book employees in “Diya”, Deputy Minister Serhiy Derkach reminded.

Currently, the Ministry by its order has recognized about 170 enterprises as critical, approximately 80 more will soon receive this status.

During the one and a half years of operation of the reservation mechanism, a total of about 500 applications were received from carriers for recognition of criticality (in 2023 – no more than 40).

At the same time, a number of changes appeared that carriers should be aware of:

• in order to receive the status of critical importance, the enterprise should meet two criteria out of seven (previously three were necessary);

• also amendments were made to Order 303 of the Ministry – it is signed and will be published after registration in the Ministry of Justice.

If the carrier has every reason to be recognized as critical without needing to wait for an updated 303 order, then it can be submitted now.

Among the key changes in the order:

• expansion of the list of enterprises that can be submitted for recognition as critical;

• abolition of the need to confirm the registration of labor relations with employees 180 days before the submission of documents.

USM previously reported that the business had discussed the concept of an economic booking model. Such a model will make it possible to transfer the mobilization burden to the shadow part of the economy.

The Ukrainian Grain Association also appealed to the government to approve the economic reservation. The Association emphasized that the work of agro-industrial enterprises is impossible without the availability of qualified personnel with a narrow specialty.

It will be recalled that in May it became known that the agricultural holding “Nibulon” cannot retain all the required employees due to the imperfection of the current reservation format. “Nibulon” urged to change the booking format, because the 50% option no longer works.

Also, the Minister of Agricultural Policy, Taras Vysotskyi, said that employees in the agricultural sector will be booked for a year.
