The Chornomorsk-Varna ferry has partially resumed operations

The Chornomorsk-Varna ferry has partially resumed its work. It was stopped with the outbreak of a full-scale war.

The ferry partially resumed work a few days ago, Dumska reports, citing its own sources.

Thus, the Vilnius ferry has already managed to make several trips to Varna in Bulgaria. The route has become part of the new Chornomorsk-Varna-Batumi ferry line. Currently, the ferry transports cargo, and passenger cabins are used by truckers.

The ferry was opened on November 14, 1978. The terminal’s capacity allows it to handle up to 4.5 million tons of cargo in wagons, more than 400 thousand trucks, 250 thousand cars and other wheeled vehicles.

Earlier, USM reported that a Ukrainian company had launched a regular ferry between Bulgaria and Georgia.
