The condition of shelters and inviolability points was checked in ports on the Danube

The Deputy Minister of Community Development visited ports in southern Ukraine, as well as the Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company.
During the working trip, meetings were also held on worker safety and protection of critical infrastructure, the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine повідомляє reports.
In particular, Deputy Minister Andriy Kashuba checked the condition of shelters in the ports of the Danube region, as well as inviolability points that are ready to work in possible emergency situations.
There are currently 30 stationary shelters and 21 mobile protective structures in operation in seaports, and another 28 structures are planned to be equipped by the end of the year.
“During the trip, special attention was paid to the safety aspect of transshipment in ports of various types of cargo, in particular dangerous cargo,” the report says.
The department said that they have already developed relevant proposals and initiatives regarding dangerous cargo, which have been submitted to the responsible authorities for consideration when making decisions.
The Ministry of Development noted that over 150 million tons of cargo have already passed through the sea corridor, of which over 90 million tons of grain have been delivered to 55 countries around the world.
Recall that on the night of October 22, Russian drones damaged terminals in the port of Izmail. As a result of the night attack, terminals and port infrastructure facilities were damaged.
