The court ordered russia to pay almost UAH 30 million to the owner of the destroyed vessel

The owner of the vessel sunk by russian missiles has ordered russian federation to pay almost UAH 30 million.
The shipowner decided to sue russian federation for the sunken ship. In the end, he won the case, said the law firm Interlegal, which represented the plaintiff in court.
As part of the project, lawyers collected all the necessary evidence, as well as:
– the Shipping Register, Maritime Administration and port representatives were informed about the event;
– appealed to the SBU authorities with a statement about the commission of a criminal offense by unidentified representatives of the armed forces of russian federation;
– organized a transport and cargo examination of the vessel;
– accompanied a dispute against another state in conditions of war.
Work on the project lasted about 8 months. Currently, the shipowner has a legal and effective basis for compensation in the future for damage and all expenses for lost property.
