The defenders of Zmiinyi Island were awarded the III degree “For Courage” orders

The border guards defending Zmiinyi Island were awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
Border guards Evgeny Konovka, Mykyta Zhuryan and Andrii Vladichenko, who defended Zmiinyi Island, were awarded the Order of Courage III degree. This is reported by “Suspilne”. In total, 21 servicemen were awarded with awards.
At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the military fell into Russian captivity. They managed to be released as a result of the exchange on November 24, 2022.
