The Defense Intelligence confirmed the strikes by naval drones on the ports of Novorossiysk and Tuapse

Ukrainian drones attacked two key Russian ports on the Black Sea at once, disrupting the export of significant volumes of oil.

Surface boats struck Russian Black Sea oil terminals on September 24. This was reported by Ukrinform.

Sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that the Transneft oil terminal and the Caspian Pipeline Consortium terminal were hit in Novorossiysk.

It was through these facilities that the Russian side loaded its tankers with oil, including ships of the “shadow fleet”. Their total throughput capacity exceeds 2 million barrels per day.

At the same time, naval drones hit the oil loading pier of one of the largest terminals in the port of Tuapse. As a result, both Russian oil transshipment points on the Black Sea coast suffered serious disruptions.

The day before, USM reported that this attack had paralyzed oil shipments at key Russian ports.
