The details of the sea battle for the Zmiinyi Island were revealed

The New York Times published new data on the battles for Snake Island.

NATO member countries continue to marvel at the ingenuity of the Ukrainian military. In particular, because the Ukrainian Armed Forces put Caesar self-propelled guns on a barge and towed them 10 km to fire at enemy positions on Zmiiny Island, the New York Times reports.

The fact is that the radius of Caesar’s damage is 40 km, and this is not enough to reach the island from the mainland, so the military had to improvise.

Also, immediately after the release of Zmiinyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny noted the important role of the Ukrainian self-propelled guns “Bohdan” in the deoccupation of the island.
