The DocPort digital platform was launched at the Port of Odesa

The DocPort digital platform has been launched in the Odesa Sea Port – a solution for automating port processes.

After successful implementation in the ports of Reni, Izmail and Chornomorsk, the system has become available in the port of Odesa, the Ministry of Development and Trade reported.

DocPort provides electronic document flow between all participants in the logistics chain: administrations, operators, forwarders, carriers and state structures. This allows you to reduce the processing time of vessels and cargo, minimize paper bureaucracy and increase the transparency of operations.

For businesses, the DocPort system offers a number of advantages:

• savings from one to six hours for processing one vessel;

• accelerated processing of departure documents;

• transparency thanks to the electronic signature of responsible persons;

• increasing the port’s throughput by 3–5% without additional investments in infrastructure;

• the ability to connect new participants via an open API.

Separately, the platform provides for the regulation of entry queues, which will help get rid of congestion. DocPort also integrates with the “Single Window for International Trade” of the State Customs Service, which allows significantly reducing the downtime of vessels without cargo operations.

The next stage of digital transformation will be the launch of the DocPort marine module in the port of Pivdennyi in June-July 2025. It will provide electronic data exchange between maritime agents and coastal services.

DocPort is a Ukrainian development created by the USPA team. The system is provided to users free of charge.

Earlier, USM reported that the Odesa port joined DocPort: a test launch has started.
