A ship with Russian cargo broke down on the way to Egypt due to engine failure.

The dry cargo ship “Lila Piraeus” broke down in the Dardanelles Strait. The 179-meter-long ship was on its way from Russia to Egypt,Turkish media IHA reports .

The accident occurred as a result of engine failure. Now “Lila Piraeus”, accompanied by a pilot vessel and a tugboat, was brought to the anchorage in the port of Karanlyk.

What kind of cargo “Lila Piraeus” was carrying is not disclosed.
