The EBA has created a working group on the protection of port infrastructure

On the basis of the business security and protection committee of the European Business Association (EBA), a working group on the protection of port infrastructure was created.

“The specified group will help coordinate the efforts of companies that do business in the southern region of Ukraine and seek to strengthen the security of their own assets and critical infrastructure,” the EBA said.

It is noted that the business is already joining forces to equip the military with the necessary forces and equipment, to staff mobile groups for the protection of port infrastructure. Yes, companies help with the provision of cars, searchlights, boats, night vision devices.

The EBA reminded that after withdrawing from the grain agreement, the Russian Federation increased its shelling, in particular, carried out a number of powerful attacks on the port infrastructure of southern Ukraine. To counter these actions, Ukrainian business held a series of meetings on the topic of protecting ports and other critical infrastructure facilities.

The working group will contribute to the work of the armed forces and give it a systemic character, the EBA explained.
