The entrepreneur “earned” 1.3 million on signaling in the port of Odesa

The contractor is suspected of embezzling funds during the installation of a fire alarm system in Odesa port.

The Kyiv businesswoman is suspected of falsifying documents and misappropriating budget funds. We are talking about the installation of a fire alarm at the State Enterprise “Odesa MTP”, reports regional prosecutor’s office. 

The investigation established that the contractor overestimated the scope of the performed works and their cost by UAH 1.3 million. Funds were transferred to the Enterpreneur’s account for no reason.

Fire alarms, alarm transmission systems, fire warning and evacuation management systems, fire extinguishing systems were not fully installed in:

— warehouse and production facilities;

— gas station;

— premises of pumping stations for pumping flammable and combustible liquids;

— in the “Red Packhouse” warehouses of buildings #2, #3, #4, #5.

At the same time, the court is considering an indictment against the customer of the works – the ex-director of the State Enterprise “Odesa MTP” for official negligence.
