The ex-officer of the Ternopil corvette was informed of the suspicion


The State Bureau of Investigation reported suspicion to the former officer of the Ternopil corvette, which is today sending missiles from the russian ship at the cities of Ukraine.

The SBI employees reported the suspicion to the former commander of the missile and artillery combat unit of the anti-submarine corvette “Ternopil”, who defected to the enemy in 2014.

After the occupiers captured his military unit in Sevastopol, the commander refused to relocate to Odesa and swore allegiance to the aggressor.

Currently, the traitor is fighting against Ukraine as part of the armed forces of russian federation, in the position of commander of the combat unit of the large landing ship “Cesar Kunikov”. The traitor’s duties include entering data to launch missiles that fly to attack Ukrainian cities.

SBI investigators collected enough evidence and informed the former Ukrainian military officer in absentia of suspicion of treason (Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He faces up to 15 years in prison.

Earlier, the employees of the SBI had already informed the former commander of the Ternopil corvette Maksym Emelianenko, who defected to the enemy in 2014, of suspicion of treason.
