The export of Ukrainian extracted meal in October reached the maximum since the beginning of the war

In October, Ukraine exported the most sunflower extracted meal since the beginning of the full-scale war on February 24.

Thus, in October, the export of Ukrainian sunflower extracted meal increased by 10%, compared to the figure in September, to 390,000 tons. This is the maximum export rate of sunflower meal since February 24, reports IA “APK-Inform”.

Export volumes of  extracted meal increased thanks to purchases from China — in this direction, Ukraine shipped 224,000 tons, which was the maximum since March of this year.

Analysts note that increased demand from Chinese exporters contributed to the increase in prices for Ukrainian extracted meal in October.

At the same time, a slowdown in exports to China is expected in November. This is due to a decrease in the activity of trade in deep-sea ports since the end of October, as a result of uncertainty regarding the further work of the “grain agreement”.
