The first auction for the sale of UDS vessels did not take place
The auction for the sale of the Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company’s marine fleet was to take place on December 13.
This is stated on the state procurement website.
Six dry cargo vessels of the UDS were tried to sell for the first time for over 440 million UAH.
The electronic protocol indicates that the auction participants were absent.
Dry cargo vessels of the R845 project, type “Izmail”, were put up for sale. The list includes:
• m/v “Izmail”
• m/v “Vylkovo”;
• m/v “Reni”;
• m/v “Viana do Castelo”;
• m/v “Kilia”;
• m/v “Tatarbunary”.
Recall that all six vessels of the UDS were put up for sale in a single lot. Shipowners are more interested in the repaired “Vylkovo” and “Izmail”. However, it is important that other vessels that have been in the sludge for many years also find a buyer.
